Eagle Pass Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under All-Stars Go Undefeated in Pool Play, Advance to Semifinal Championship

The Eagle Pass Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under All-Stars Team swept through their Pool Play undefeated (4-0) at the 2025 Babe Ruth Baseball 13 U World Series in Jamestown, New York, qualifying for the Championship bracket-play semifinals on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. (CST) at Russell E. Diethrick, Jr. Baseball Park.
Eagle Pass won all four of its games during Pool Play at the World Series to place first in their American Pool with a perfect 4-0 record. In the first Pool game on Saturday, August 16, 2025, Eagle Pass defeated the Stevens Point, Wisconsin All-Stars 10-0.
In their second Pool game on Sunday, August 17, 2025, Eagle Pass shutout the Babe Ruth World Series host team of Jamestown, New York 14-0 to go 2-0 in Pool Play. The Eagle Pass All-Stars earned a day off from play and enjoyed a trip to Niagara Falls, New York.
In their third Pool game on Tuesday, August 18, 2025, Eagle Pass edged the Eastern Utah All-Stars from Brice, Utah 5-4 to remain undefeated in the Amercan Pool bracket (3-0).
In their fourth and final Pool Play game on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, Eagle Pass nipped the Centennial, Colorado All-Stars 4-3 in the seventh inning by stealing home plate to earn the hard fought victory and go undefeated in their American Pool.
By virtue of their first place finish in their Amercan Pool, Eagle Pass earned the right to play for the Championship bracket play semi-finals on Friday, August 22, 2025 at 3:30 p.m. Eagle Pass is two wins away from earning the Babe Ruth World Series 13 Under Championship, but first must win on Friday, August 22nd against the winner of Stamford, Connecticut and Centennial, Colorado to advance to the Championship game on Saturday, August 23rd.
The Eagle Pass Babe Ruth 13 Under All-Stars include Caleb Jimenez, Eli Moreno, Josh Montes, Julian De Hoyos, Leandro Mares, Mason Villarreal, Julian Palacios, D’Andre Daniel, Jesus Calderon, Aron Gonzalez, and Brandon Esquivel. Eagle Pass All-Stars are under the helm of Manager Fernando Esquivel and Assistant Coaches Daniel Jimenez, Jose Palacios, and Jesus Calderon. Jr.
In the National Pool bracket, Tallahassee, Florida All-Stars also went undefeated 4-0 to advance to the second semi-finals Championship game on Friday, August 22nd against the winner of Broomall-Newton, Pennsylvania and Eastern Utah (Brice, UT).
The winners of the two semifinals Championship games on Friday, August 22nd advance to the 2025 Babe Ruth Baseball 13 Under World Series Championship game on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at 12 Noon (CST). A third place game will be played between the two teams who lose in the semifinals on Saturday, August 23rd at 9 a.m. (CST).
