2014 Eagle Pass High School Eagles Football Schedule

The Eagle Pass High School Eagles kick-off the 2014 Texas high school football season against the Killeen Ellison High School Eagles on Saturday, August 30, 2014, at 7:00 P.M. at Converse-Judson Stadium in Converse, Texas during what is referred as “zero week” (first week) of the season.
The Eagle Pass Eagles remained in the newly elevated District 29-6A (formerly District 29-5A) with the same teams except C. C. Winn High School, including Laredo United High School Longhorns, Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs, Laredo United South High School Panthers, Laredo LBJ High School Wolves, and Del Rio High School Rams. The Eagles will seek to repeat qualifying for the state high school playoffs under the tutelage of Head Coach Tom Gonzalez.
The Eagles travel to Laredo, Texas during the second week of the season to play the Laredo Nixon High School Mustangs in a non-district game on Friday, September 5th, at 7:30 P.M. in the Laredo Independent School District Shirley Field.
The Eagles play their cross-town rival C. C. Winn High School Mavericks during the third week in the Ninth Annual City Championship, also called the Menudo Bowl, on Friday, September 12th, at 7:30 P.M. in a non-district game at the Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
During the fourth week, the Eagles travel to San Antonio, Texas to play against the San Antonio John Jay High School Mustangs in a non-district game on Thursday, September 18th, at 7:30 P.M. at the San Antonio Northside Independent School District Gustafson Stadium.
The Eagles return home during the fifth week of the season to play the San Antonio High School Dragons in a non-district game on Thursday, September 25th, at 7:30 P.M. in the EPISD Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Eagles game against San Antonio Southwest Dragons has been designated as Parents Night.
During the sixth week, the Eagles enjoy an open week (October 3rd) before starting District 29-6A play the following week.
In the seventh week of the season, the Eagles open District 29-6A action against the Laredo United South High School Panthers on Thursday, October 9th, at 7:30 P.M. at the EPISD Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Eagles celebrate their 2014 Homecoming festivities and game during the eighth week against the Laredo LBJ High School Wolves in a key district matchup on Friday, October 17th, at 7:30 P.M. at the EPISD Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
During the ninth week, the Eagles travel to play the Laredo United High School Longhorns in an important district game on Thursday, October 23rd, at 7:00 P.M. at the Laredo United Independent School District Student Activity Complex in Laredo.
The Eagles return home to play the Laredo Alexander High School Bulldogs during the tenth week of the season in a marquee district game on Thursday, October 30th, at 7:00 P.M. at the EPISD Student Activity Center Cozel Foster-Veterans Memorial Stadium.
The Eagles finish the 2014 regular season on the road to play their traditional arch-rival Del Rio High School Rams during the eleventh week in a pivotal district game on Friday, November 7th, at 7:30 P.M. at Walter Leverman Ram Stadium in Del Rio.
