Former Eagle Pass City Manager Pete Sepulveda, Jr. Sworn-In as Cameron County Judge

Former City of Eagle Pass, Texas City Manager Pete Sepulveda, Jr. was officially sworn-in as the new Cameron County Judge on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at the Cameron County Courthouse in Brownsville, Texas.
Prior to his appointment to replace former Cameron County Judge, Carlos Cascos, whom was appointed as Texas Secretary of State by Governor Greg Abbott, Sepulveda served as the Cameron County Administrator.
Newly sworn-in County Judge Sepulveda previously had the distinction to work and serve as City Manager for Eagle Pass, Texas during October 28, 1996 through April 10, 1998.
Judge Sepulveda was joined by his wife, Myrna, and their three daughters, Vivien, Rebbekah, and Yaretzi, as well as other family members. Sepulveda paid tribute to his hard working parents for instilling in him and his brothers and sisters an industrious work ethic and high educational standards. His parents were former migrant workers. Sepulveda was born in Rio Grande City, Texas.
Joining Judge Sepulveda at the swearing-in ceremony were United States House of Representative Filemon Vela, Jr. and Texas Representative Eddie Lucio, Jr. as well as the Cameron County Commissioners Court.
During his tenure as City Manager in Eagle Pass, Sepulveda worked diligently to improve the infrastructure and quality of life of the community.
