Jaime Javier Garcia Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

(Press Release) District Attorney Roberto Serna confirmed that on September 28, 2015, in Zavala County, Texas, Jaime Javier Garcia, 36 years of age, pled guilty to the felony offenses of Aggravated Robbery and Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon on a Licensed Premises, which occurred on May 20, 2011, and the felony offense of Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility, which occurred on June 29, 2011. Jaime Javier Garcia was sentenced to 15 years confinement in prison. District Attorney Serna pledges to continue to seek the successful prosecution of all felony crimes in Dimmit, Maverick, and Zavala County to ensure the safety of the public from violent offenders.
