Two Student Produced Feature Length Films to Screen at 7th Annual Frontera Film Festival
Calling all film Production Members of the student produced film RAY BLACK.
This Friday and Saturday, May 13th & 14th the Eagle Pass Independent School District Frontera Film Festival Will occur:
The line up for this Friday includes the rebooting of an old classic film by the name of RAY BLACK, this movie is celebrating its 10th year anniversary. Media Tech. teacher Jessie F. Fuentes mentioned that everyone is excited to be able to announce that it has been 10 years since the Film Production Division of our Career and Technical Education Department was launched.
Along with the showing of RAY BLACK we also have a second feature.
As you may have read a couple of months ago we celebrated the accomplishments of one particular EPISD High School student, her name is Maria V Martinez. For those of you who might have not heard about her, she is a young lady who wrote a 152 page screenplay. The title of this screenplay is My One & Only, My Last. It gives me great pleasure to announce that we will also be showing her film production of that screenplay right after the first film.
So please attend the Frontera Film Festival this Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. There is no admission charge and you’re invited to see student produced films. RAY BLACK was produced 10 years ago and My One & Only, My Last was produced this year.
So if you’re the type of individual that would love to see and amazing double feature of STUDENT CINEMA make sure you don’t miss it. The event is part of the 7th Annual EPISD Frontera Film Festival and is taking place at the Student Activity Center – Fine Arts Building starting a 6:00 p.m. this Friday. The first film rolls at 6:45 p.m. So come out and support your local students.
