Quemado Missing Woman Pronounced Dead after teeth remains found inside burnt home

Quemadoan Lucinda Robles, age 69, was pronounced deceased by Maverick County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3-C Jeannie Smith on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 after law enforcement and fire investigators found teeth remains inside the home owned by the deceased, ending the missing person search for Robles. Family members identified the teeth remains as belonging to Robles.
A massive missing person search was undertaken by representatives of the Maverick County Sheriff’s Department, Eagle Pass Police Department, Eagle Pass Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, family members, friends, and volunteers on land and air to find Robles.
Robles was inside her residence on U.S. Highway 277 North in Quemado, Texas on Monday morning, August 22nd, at approximately 2 A.M. when a commercial truck carrying a load of highly explosive air-bag gas cylinders lost control and crashed near the home of Robles and shortly thereafter exploding, causing Robles’ residence to be torched to the ground.
In addition to Robles, four persons were injured in the tragic accident and explosion, including the driver and passenger of the commercial truck carrying the dangerous freight as well as a man and a woman in a Toyota RAV4 sedan traveling on U.S. Highway 277 North when the explosion occurred, spraying their automobile and bodies with explosion debris and materials.
The four injured persons were transported to Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center in Eagle Pass and later transferred to San Antonio, Texas hospitals for further specialized treatment due to their injuries.
The fatal accident is under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
