Eagle Pass Mayor Ramsey English Cantu complains of Chest Pains during City Council Meeting

Eagle Pass, Texas Mayor Ramsey English Cantu complained of chest pains during a special City Council meeting on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 and was taken to the emergency room of the Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center.

Cantu stated that he was thoroughly examined at the local medical center and needed to get some rest.

Cantu is an avid walker and exercises regularly while maintaining a busy work and volunteer schedule within the community.

During the February 21st special meeting, Cantu complained to his colleagues of chest pains.  He will spend some days resting and recovering his health.

Coincidentally, Mayor Cantu earlier this month promoted and celebrated the month of February as Cardiac Healthcare Month.
