13 Eagle Pass Winn Lady Mavericks Earn 2019 District 28-5A All-District Softball Honors

A total of 13 Eagle Pass C. C. Winn High School Lady Mavericks earned recognition in the 2019 District 28-5A All-District Softball honors as selected by the District Head Softball Coaches, announced Lady Mavericks Head Softball Coach J.J. Iracheta.
Two Lady Mavericks were named to the District 28-5A All-District Softball First Team including twin sisters, Ariana Soto as a Pitcher and First Baseman and Briana Soto as Catcher.
Two additional Lady Mavericks were named to the District 28-5A All-District Softball Second Team including Angie Escamilla as Pitcher and Anissa Salazar as an Outfielder.
Three Lady Mavericks received Honorable Mention including Thiana Reyes as Shortstop, Ana Lopez as Second Baseman, and Mia Uriegas as Third Baseman.
Ten Lady Mavericks earned recognition in the District 28-5A All-Academic Team including Ariana Benavidez, Roxie Moreno, Kiana Diaz, Kayla Sifuentes, Amy Flores, Sirena Montez, Ana Lopez, Mia Uriegas, Ariana Soto, and Briana Soto.
