City of Eagle Pass Severe Storms Alert – May 2, 2019
The City of Eagle Pass has received notice from the National Weather Service of Severe Storms possible for our region this afternoon and evening. Severe Storms with a POSSIBILITY of:
- Hail: in excess of 2 inches in diameter
- Winds: gusts in excess of 60 MPH
- Tornadoes: Isolated
- Rainfall: locally heavy rain in excess of 1-2 inches will be possible within the heavier thunderstorms.
Persons who live in low-lying areas and those who live in weak structures should take all necessary precautions to safeguard from this severe weather.

La ciudad de Eagle Pass ha recibido aviso del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional de una alerta de Tormentas Severas posibles para nuestra región para esta tarde y por la noche. POSIBILIDADES de tormentas severas con:
- Granizo: en exceso de 2 pulgadas de diámetro
- Vientos: ráfagas superiores a 60 MPH
- Tornados: Aislado
- Lluvia: localmente en exceso de 1-2 pulgadas es posible dentro de las tormentas más pesadas.
Las personas que viven en zonas bajas y quienes viven en estructuras débiles deben tomar todas las precauciones necesarias para protegerse de este clima severo.
