Maverick County Hospital District Administrator Alma Martinez announced the inauguration of transportation services for patients will be held on Friday, July 26, 2019, at 10 A.M. at the District’s headquarters located at 3406 Bob Rogers Drive, Eagle Pass, Texas. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on July 26th.
Martinez stated that the entire community is cordially invited to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony of the new transportation service (mini-bus) on July 26th and meet and greet the Board of Directors of the Maverick County Hospital District, healthcare providers, staff, and administration. Refreshments and appetizers will be served to guests.
Martinez noted that many patients of the District’s Physician Specialty Clinic and other healthcare services were unable to personally drive to the clinic or do not have personal transportation available to keep their appointments. The District decided to invest in some mini-buses and drivers to provide this indispensable transportation service to its patients.
The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors is composed of Jesus Casas, CPA, President, Rebecca Robinson, Vice-President, Aaron Valdez, Secretary, Adolfo Olivares, Board member, and Juan Manuel “Chuco” Farias, Board member.
