Alma Martinez Named Maverick County Hospital District Administrator by Board

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Directors officially named Alma Martinez as the District Administrator at their August 3, 2019 special meeting.

Martinez had been Interim Administrator since January 3, 2019 when former District Chief Executive Officer Terry Contreras-Patlan was relieved of her duties.

The Board of Directors announced the job opening in July of 2019 and selected a total of four candidates for interviews.

After interviewing the four candidates, the Board of Directors proceeded to a special meeting on August 3, 2019 to make their formal decision.

The local Hospital District Board of Directors have launched an ambitious campaign to increase the number of healthcare specialists and programs in the community to serve the healthcare needs of Maverick Countians and surrounding communities.
