My parents are Rolando Salinas and the late Yolanda Salinas. My siblings are Alicia Flores, Alma Morales, Adrian Salinas, and Diego J. Salinas. My mother was a homemaker and my father worked for over twenty years at the OLOR Cemetery as a groundskeeper.
I graduated from Eagle Pass High School in 2002. I attended St. Mary’s University in San Antonio and obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 2006. I then continued my studies at Loyola University New Orleans – College of Law, where I obtained my Juris Doctorate Degree in 2010.
After law school, I returned to Eagle Pass to pursue my legal career. Currently, I am a Partner at the law firm of Knickerbocker, Heredia, Salinas & Salinas, P.C. Throughout my nine years of practice, I have represented hundreds of citizens of our community in both civil and criminal matters. I am running for City Council because I love this City, this City has given so much to me and I am ready to serve for the people. I will do everything in my power to make sure this City prospers and moves in the right direction.
As council member, my priorities will be to bring fiscal responsibility to our city government in the areas of infrastructure, public safety, and our city’s finances. I promise to have an open-door policy and to ensure that our city government remains transparent and responsive to the citizens.
I humbly request your support.
God bless you all.
