Laughlin Air Force Base 47th Flying Training Wing Honors Maverick County Frontline Health Care Workers with Fly Over Salute

Laughlin Air Force Base 47th Flying Training Wing honored all the Maverick County frontline health care workers with a precision flying Fly Over Salute on Thursday, May 21, 2020, at 3:30 P.M. in Eagle Pass, Texas.
Three jets representing the 47th Flying Training Wing aircraft models used for training new United States Air Force pilots at Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas flew at a high rate of speed performing a precision Fly Over Salute through Veterans Boulevard and swinging over to the Eagle Pass Medical Center Complex including Fort Duncan Regional Medical Center, Maverick County Hospital District, and local medical and health care offices.
Thousands of Maverick Countians gathered at many points of view throughout the Fly Over path to enjoy the salute to the community frontline health care workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Maverick County Judge David R. Saucedo thanked Colonel Gentile of Laughlin Air Force Base for the 47th Flying Training Wing’s Fly Over Salute of all Maverick County frontline health care workers on May 21, 2020. Judge Saucedo added that he looked forward to working with Laughlin Air Force Base and Colonel Gentile on future projects.
