Eagle Pass High School students and graduates may purchase the 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook for the price of $40 during September 21 through 25, 2020 from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. in front of the school by the flagpole, announced El Cenizo Yearbook Adviser, Scott Donley.
Donley noted that visitation to the Eagle Pass High School campus is restricted, so buyers must come only between 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. during Monday, September 21 through Friday, September, 25.
All Eagle Pass High School students and graduates will want to purchase their copy of their 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook filled with 304 pages full of portraits, sports, traditions, activities, and academics.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic last spring, the completion of the 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook was delayed and moved to publication and delivery in the fall. The 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook includes coverage of graduation and a few other spring events not normally put into the yearbook.
This unique and historic 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook has photos and information concerning how the Coronavirus and school shutdown affected the lives of students. Finishing the yearbook presented many challenges as the yearbook staff members completed many of the pages at home, sending hundreds of emails and soliciting many photos to collect the needed materials to complete the project.
The theme chosen was “The 2000s, the Golden Years” reflects the idea that the 2020 Seniors have been impacted by the first fifth of this millennia, culminating with the COVID-19 pandemic.
Any student, graduate, or person who wants to purchase a copy of the 2020 El Cenizo Yearbook but cannot do so during September 21-25, 2020, can email Mr. Scott Donley, the El Cenizo Yearbook Adviser, to: bdonley@eaglepassisd.net .
