Last Chance to Register to Vote Drive to be Held in Maverick County During October 3-4 at County Lake, Open to Public

Maverick County citizens who have not yet registered to vote will have a final, last chance to register during a voter registration drive being held during Saturday and Sunday, October 3-4, 2020, from 12 Noon to 4 P.M. at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Juanita V. Martinez, Maverick County Democratic Party Chairperson.
The deadline to register to vote in Texas is Monday, October 5, 2020 for the upcoming November 3 Presidential and General Election.
Martinez invites all Maverick County citizens desiring to register to vote to take a few minutes and visit the voter registration booth at the front entrance of the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass to become eligible to vote in the November 3 election.
“This voter registration drive is the last opportunity to become eligible to vote in the upcoming November 3 election,” Martinez said. “We look forward to assisting everyone seeking to vote in the election as the application only takes a few minutes to fill out,” Martinez added.
The October 3-4, 2020 voter registration drive is open to the public. Must be 18 years old and a United States citizen to register to vote.
