Eagle Pass Lady Eagles Softball Swept in Bi-District Championship By San Antonio Harlan Lady Hawks

The 2021 District 30-6A Co-Champion Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagles were swept in a best of three series in the Bi-District Championship by the San Antonio Harlan High School Lady Hawks, eliminating them from the state playoffs.
In Game One played on Friday, April 30, 2021, at the Eagle Pass Independent School District Student Activity Center Softball Field, the Lady Eagles took a one run lead into the seventh inning but the Lady Hawks exploded for five unanswered runs to earn the hard fought win over the Lady Eagles, taking a 1-0 lead in the best of three series.
In Game Two played at the San Antonio Northside Independent School District Softball Complex, the Lady Eagles jumped to a 2-1 lead in the first inning and lead until the bottom of the fifth inning when the Lady Hawks plated two runs to take a 3-2 lead over the Lady Eagles and never looked back, earning a 6-2 victory in the second game to sweep the Lady Eagles in Bi-District.
The Lady Eagles conclude another successful softball season under the helm of Head Coach Oscar Ruiz as the District 30-6A Co-Champions together with the Laredo LBJ Lady Wolves.
The 2021 Lady Eagles include Karyna Perez, Alyssa Galvan, Lashay Reyes, Bianca Vielma, Shania Dunn, Valeria Vielma, Gabriela Galvan, Valeria Salinas, Lexi Gonzalez, Kiana Esquivel, Kaylynne Ruiz, Paola Chavarria, Natalie Flores, Janel Ramos, Iliana Luna, Anahi Gutierrez, Lynsey Rodriguez, and Carly Rankin.
