CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky noted that the current COVID-19 vaccines are effective against the Delta Variant and encourages all Americans who are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated to immediately get fully vaccinated at their nearest pharmacy, public health clinic, or private healthcare provider.
