Eagle Pass Healthcare Executive and Philanthropist Teresa C. Kypuros Passes Away at 75

Eagle Pass healthcare executive, philanthropist, and socialite Teresa C. Kypuros passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at the age of 75 years old. Kypuros served for many years as Chief Operating Officer of United Medical Centers in Eagle Pass, Texas. Eagle Passans mourn the passing of Teresa “Tere” C. Kypuros.
Kypuros is survived by her husband, Jaime Kypuros, two sons, Jaime Kypuros (Marlisa) and Mike Kypuros (Frances), one brother, Gilbert Cruz, Jr., three grandchildren, Kaden Kypuros, Amanda Mello, and Miguel Jaime Kypuros, and one great granddaughter, Addilyn Menenses.
Kypuros is preceded in death by her two brothers, Moises Peña and Frank Cruz.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Yeager Barrera Mortuary, 1613 Del Rio Blvd., Eagle Pass, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Eagle Pass, Texas. At the request of the family, Mrs. Teresa C. Kypuros will be cremated.
