A Fed-Ex delivery driver arrived at a residence in the 1200 block of Bryan Street in Eagle Pass, Texas to pick-up a large, heavy box for shipment, but noticed that the box moved as if a person might be inside the box and immediately called the Eagle Pass Police Department to investigate the matter. Eagle Pass is located on the United States-Mexico border.

Upon arrival, the Eagle Pass Police Officers checked out the content of the moving box and discovered a female undocumented immigrant from Honduras inside the box. The female immigrant was removed from the box and turned over to the United States Border Patrol in Eagle Pass.

The case is under investigation by the United States Homeland Security Investigations to determine who is responsible for this smuggling attempt and whether other undocumented immigrants have been similarly smuggled into the United States utilizing this unusual method.

The Fed-Ex driver and the female Honduran undocumented immigrant did not sustain any injuries in this smuggling attempt.
