32 Eagles Pass Eagles Receive 2021 District 30-6A All-District Football Honors

Eagle Pass High School Eagles Head Football Coach Tom Gonzalez has authorized the Eagle Pass Business Journal to publish that 32 Eagles players received 2021 District 30-6A All-District Football Honors.
In 2021, the Eagles enjoyed a successful season as they made the state postseason playoffs for the fifth consecutive year, finished as District Runner-Up (2nd Place), won a Bi-District Championship, were Area Championship Finalists, and had an overall season record of 8-4.
Eagles standout quarterback Isaac Stanwick was named the District 30-6A Most Valuable Offensive Player by the district head coaches.
Eagles standout linebacker Victor Chavez was named the District 30-6A Most Valuable Defensive Player in 2021.
Eagles standout running back T. J. Mares was named the District 30-6A Most Outstanding Running Back in 2021.
Eagles standout defensive tackle Javier Santos was named the District 30-6A Most Outstanding Interior Defensive Lineman in 2021.
Eagles standout defensive end Nathan Aguilera was named the District 30-6A Most Outstanding Defensive End in 2021.
Eagles two way standout wide receiver and corner back/safety Dakota Kypuros was named as the District 30-6A Most Outstanding Secondary on defense and First Team All-District Slot Receiver (Unanimous) on offense.
Six Eagles were named to District 30-6A First Team All-District Offense, including center Jack Olivas (Unanimous), tackle Alfredo Guevara (Unanimous), guard Derek Ruiz (Unanimous), wide receiver Kyle Gloria, tight end Jarod Romero, and slot receiver Dakota Kypuros (Unanimous).
Five Eagles were named to District 30-6A First Team All-District Defense, including defensive tackle Izhar Mauricio, inside linebacker Eduardo Sepulveda, outside linebacker Jesse James Martinez, corner back Robert De La Garza (Unanimous), and safety Aidan Lopez (Unanimous).
Four Eagles were named to District 30-6A Second Team All-District Offense, including Slot Receiver and Punter Wilfredo “Willy” Frausto, wide receiver Chris Frausto, guard Isaiah Santos, and tackle Emiliano Garza.
Six Eagles were named to District 30-6A Second Team All-District Defense, including defensive end Erick Lara, defensive end Gunnar Caballero, inside linebacker Diego Villarreal, corner back Diego Garcia, corner back Fernando Zavala, and kicker Alan Losoya.
Four Eagles received District 30-6A Honorable Mention, including running back Alejandro Segura, defensive tackle Omar Salazar, outside linebacker Chris Lopez, and safety Jake Zapata.
Eight Eagles were named District 30-6A Academic All-District, including Luis Mauricio, Joaquin Olivas, Zack Zapata, Victor Chavez, Erick Lara, Alan Losoya, Eduardo Sepulveda, and Fernando Zavala.
