Eagle Pass City Council Reappoints Municipal Court Judge and Assistant Municipal Court Judge

The Eagle Pass City Council unanimously approved at their regular meeting on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 to reappoint Municipal Court Judge Francisco Martinez, III and Assistant Municipal Court Judge Teresa Melendrez for another two year term.
Municipal Court Judge Francisco Martinez, III has served as municipal court judge for over 14 years while Assistant Municipal Court Judge Teresa Melendrez has served with the city for over six years.
Judge Martinez is a local attorney with a solo practitioner office in Eagle Pass and also serves as the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Tribal Court Judge.
Judge Melendrez is a retired Maverick County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace before joining the City of Eagle Pass.
Judges Martinez and Melendrez were reappointed under their current salaries and terms.
