Edgar H. Juarez Announces Candidacy for 365th Judicial District Court Judge

Eagle Pass, Texas attorney Edgar Hugo Juarez announced on his Facebook Page on Friday, November 26, 2021, his candidacy for 365th Judicial District Court Judge in the March 1, 2021 Democratic Party Primary Election, challenging incumbent Amado J. Abascal, III.
Juarez cited the need for change, justice, and honesty in his announcement as the reasons for deciding to run for the 365th District Court Judge position, which serves Maverick, Dimmit, and Zavala counties.
Juarez is a graduate of St. Mary’s University School of Law and was licensed as an attorney in the state of Texas on May 5, 2003. He also received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1998 and graduated from Brownsville Hanna Early College High School in 1993.
Juarez is a solo practitioner and opened the Law Offices of Edgar H. Juarez in Eagle Pass, Texas in 2006.
Juarez is married to Rosa Juarez of Eagle Pass and has two children.
Juarez stated he has been practicing law “for over 18 years” in Texas and is prepared and ready to serve the people of Maverick, Dimmit, and Zavala counties as the next 365th District Court Judge.
