Eagle Pass Reports Second Suicide of 2022

Eagle Pass Police Department Public Affairs Officer Humberto Garza, Jr. announced the tragic death of an Eagle Pass male individual on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, by suicide, becoming the second suicide victim of the young 2022 year.
Garza stated a family member called the Eagle Pass Police Department on Tuesday, January 25, upon discovering the deceased body of the male individual.
The individual died from a gunshot wound from a firearm.
A Maverick County Justice of the Peace was summoned to the residence in the 2300 block of Hillcrest Boulevard in Eagle Pass and declared the individual deceased and ordered an autopsy.
The case is under investigation by the Eagle Pass Police Department.
