Jacqueline C. Stephens Named Chief Operating Officer at Stat Specialty Hospital

Stat Specialty Hospital of Laredo Chief Executive Officer Alan Gonzalez announced that Jacqueline C. Stephens has been named Chief Operating Officer of Stat Specialty Hospitals in Eagle Pass and Del Rio, Texas at a press conference held on Thursday, June 30, 2022. In Eagle Pass, Stat Specialty Hospital is located at 2114 N. Veterans Blvd., Telephone No. (830) 522-3000.
Gonzalez stated that Jacqueline C. Stephens is “a great addition to the administrative team of Stat Specialty Hospital.” He added that “Jacqueline brings significant leadership experience. In her previous role, she demonstrated the ability to create and foster strong teams, an ability to follow proper roles and extensive regulatory codes,…and welcomed her to Stat Specialty Hospital.”
Stat Specialty Hospital Chief Medical Director Dr. Sebastian Padron welcomed Jacqueline C. Stephens to the team. Dr. Padron added that she was highly respected and recommended to Stat Specialty Hospital.
Dr. Guadalupe Duran, Medical Director of Stat Specialty Hospital in Laredo and Eagle Pass, stated he welcomed the opportunity to work with Jacqueline C. Stephens and looked forward to her introducing him to the community of Eagle Pass.
Jacqueline C. Stephens thanked Stat Specialty Hospital Board of Directors and Chief Medical Director Dr. Sebastian Padron and Dr. Guadalupe Duran for naming her as the Chief Operations Officer of the Eagle Pass and Del Rio facilities. She looks forward to working with the Stat Hospital Administration in fulfilling its vision and goals for the communities of Eagle Pass and Del Rio. She added that great things and programs will get done at the Eagle Pass and Del Rio facilities through collaboration with all the team members and community stakeholders seeking professional medical care.
Stephens is a graduate of Eagle Pass High School (Class of 1990), received a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Texas A & M International University School of Nursing in Laredo, and earned a Master of Healthcare Administration from the University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley. She is also a Registered Nurse.
Prior to her studies, Jacqueline C. Stephens served in the United States Army for five years in the healthcare field and another five years in the Army Reserve for total of 10 years of military service.
Jacqueline C. Stephens has a combined 15 years of nursing experience. She is the daughter of Samuel and Eloisa Cabrales of Eagle Pass, Texas.
Her goal is to recruit and hire more nurses at Stat Specialty Hospitals in Eagle Pass and Del Rio and offer exciting professional opportunities to more local students interested in healthcare while providing the highest quality medical care to patients requiring the services of Stat Specialty Hospital.
Following the press conference, a Meet and Greet Luncheon in honor of Jacqueline C. Stephens was held at Stat Specialty Hospital in Eagle Pass.
