2023 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Pageant Winners Announced, Janel Ramos Crowned Miss MCJLS Queen and Melannie Alexandra Martinez Crowned Miss Western Queen

A large enthusiastic crowd of adults and children estimated at 1,000 persons attended the highly anticipated 2023 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show (MCJLS) Pageant on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Zan Mathies Show Barn at the Maverick County Lake in Eagle Pass, Texas, kicking-off the 2023 Maverick County Junior Livestock Show and Sale during January 17-21.
Daniella Byrne was the Mistress of Ceremonies at the 2023 MCJLS Pageant.
Eagle Pass High School senior Janel Ramos was crowned as the 2023 Miss Maverick County Junior Livestock Show Queen while Melannie Alexandra Martinez was crowned as Miss Western Queen.
Natalee Nicole Morales was named 2023 Miss MCJLS Princess while Lorelei Gonzalez garnered Miss MCJLS Duchess honors.
In the Miss MCJLS Queen category, Janel Ramos was named the Most Photogenic and Natalee Nicole Morales received Miss Amity.
Crowned as the 2023 Mr. MCJLS King was Brandon Vargas while Nicolas Curi garnered Mr. Western King honors.
Michelle Uribe was crowned as the 2023 Teen Miss MCJLS Queen and Rylee L. Gloria was crowned as Teen Miss Western Queen.
Nathan Sanchez was crowned as 2023 Teen Mr. MCJLS King while Eran Gonzalez received Teen Mr. Western King honors.
Crowned as the 2023 Junior Miss MCJLS was Kayleen M. Chuey while Emma Jules Barfield was crowned as Junior Miss Western Queen.
Logan Guardiola was crowned as 2023 Junior Mr. MCJLS King and Ethan Aguinaga received Junior Mr. Western King honors.
Crowned as the 2023 Little Miss MCJLS Queen was River Reese Blanchard while Ximena Michelle Velez garnered Little Miss Western Queen.
Roel Sanchez was crowned as 2023 Little Mr. MCJLS King while Leonel V. Castillo was crowned as Little Mr. Western King.
Crowned as the 2023 Tiny Miss MCJLS Queen was Veronica Ramos and Regina Balderas received Tiny Miss Western Queen honors.
Eleazar Cardenas was crowned as the 2023 Tiny Mr. MCJLS King while Gael Quiroz was crowned as Tiny Mr. Western King.
Judges for the Miss MCJLS and Western Queen Pageants were Yolanda Rivas, Alyssa Gomez, Claudia Lopez Cruz, Linda Clark, and Cynthia Magellan Trevino. In the Mr. MCJLS and Western King Pageants, the judges were Lisa Cain, Sairah Gonzalez, and Kazandra Cain.
