Sul Ross College of Business introduces two new Bachelor of Business Administration programs

Sul Ross State University announced two new Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Global Management and Marketing, beginning in Fall 2025.
These programs are designed to prepare students with the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to assume leadership positions within Texas, the U.S. or globally.
The BBA in Global Management equips students with insights into the latest trends in business knowledge and organizational practices, encompassing both theoretical and practical aspects.
Similarly, the BBA in Marketing program immerses students in a learning environment that teaches them to engage with current tools and techniques. Both programs encourage students to respond effectively to a dynamic and competitive business environment and to recognize, respond and quickly adapt to market dynamics and environmental changes that impact organizations at regional, national and international levels.
Texas boasts the second-largest state economy in the U.S. with a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of $2.6 trillion in 2023. It is also the fourth fastest-growing economy this year and ranks first in the number of new jobs created over the past 12 months. Additionally, Texas leads the nation in foreign trade and direct foreign investment, and it is home to 54 Fortune 500 companies. Given this context, the Texas economy plays a crucial role in the global market, highlighting the need for business graduates who can
thrive in a diverse and changing economy, as well as in multinational environments.
These new BBA programs will equip students to take on leadership positions within firms that operate on a national or global scale.
