Eagle Pass High School Lady Eagle Junior Volleyball Player Daniela Stanwick Reaches 500 Career Digs and Assists

Eagle Pass High School volleyball standout Daniela Stanwick has reached two impressive career milestones, recording dual 500 career digs and assists as a member of the Lady Eagles volleyball program.

Stanwick, a junior at Eagle Pass High School, reached the milestones during the 2026 volleyball season, adding another accomplishment to a high school athletic career that has already included recognition on the volleyball court and in track and field.

Reaching 500 digs and 500 assists highlights Stanwick’s versatility and ability to contribute in different areas of the game.

Digs are an important measure of a player’s defensive performance and ability to keep opposing attacks from reaching the floor, while assists reflect a player’s ability to set up teammates for offensive opportunities and kills.

Reaching 500 in both categories demonstrates Stanwick’s ability to contribute defensively while also helping generate the Lady Eagles’ offense.
Stanwick has previously received recognition for her performance on the volleyball court. During her sophomore season, she earned honorable mention honors in District 30-6A postseason selections.

Her athletic abilities extend beyond volleyball.
Stanwick has also represented Eagle Pass High School in track and field, competing in events that have included the 100-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles and long jump.

As a freshman, she recorded a time of 18.77 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles, which was listed among Eagle Pass High School freshman records. She also recorded a 54.74 in the 300-meter hurdles.

Her athletic career dates back to her junior high years, when she competed for Eagle Pass Junior High Orange and participated in several track and field events, including a first-place performance in the seventh-grade high jump at the 2023 Eagle Pass Junior High Invitational.

Now a junior, Stanwick continues adding to her accomplishments while representing Eagle Pass High School.

With another season of high school eligibility still ahead following the current school year, reaching 500 career digs and 500 assists gives Stanwick an opportunity to continue building on those totals and establishing herself as one of the Lady Eagles’ most outstanding volleyball players.
