Eagle Pass Port of Entry CBP to Hold 9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony

The Eagle Pass Port of Entry Field Operations is hosting a 9/11 25th Anniversary Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 7:15 A.M. at the City of Eagle Pass Camino Real International Bridge in Eagle Pass, Texas, announced Pete Macias, Assistant Port of Eagle Pass Director.
The solemn remembrance 9/11 ceremony will honor the 2,977 victims who died in the tragic 9/11 three-pronged terrorist attack in the United States. A total of 2,753 victims died in the 9/11 attack on the two World Trade Center towers in New York City. Another 184 victims died in the 9/11 attack at the Pentagon in Washington, D. C. while another 40 died in the Shanksville, Pennsylvania crash of one of the hi-jacked airplanes wrestled to the ground by passengers. Not counted are the 19 terrorists who died in the attack.
“The purpose of the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is to honor the memory of the 2,977 victims while honoring the bravery of those who continue to serve in defense of the United States Homeland security,” said Macias.
The 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony is open to the public. All persons attending the 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on September 11th are encouraged to arrive early because the ceremony will start at 7:15 A.M. sharp.
America shall never forget the names and lives of the 2,977 victims who died in the heinous terrorist attack on that fateful day on September 11, 2001.
