The Maverick County Hospital District will bring together breast cancer survivors, families and community members for its 11th Annual Think Pink Runway Show, an evening dedicated to courage, strength and breast cancer awareness.
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the International Center for Trade, located at 3295 Bob Rogers Drive in Eagle Pass.
Now entering its 11th year, the Think Pink Runway Show has become an annual October tradition highlighting breast cancer warriors and providing them an opportunity to take center stage while surrounded by family, friends and members of the community.
This year’s program will feature Dr. Justine Betzu and Dr. Claudia Wright as keynote speakers, adding an educational and inspirational component to the evening.
October is recognized nationally as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, placing an emphasis on awareness, recommended screenings and early detection while also recognizing survivors and those currently undergoing treatment.
For Maverick County, the annual runway show puts local faces and stories behind that message.
Rather than focusing solely on the challenges associated with breast cancer, the evening celebrates the courage and perseverance of those who have faced the disease. Breast cancer warriors will walk the runway in a show of strength and solidarity with the community.
Over more than a decade, the annual event has helped keep breast cancer awareness visible locally while reminding residents of the importance of supporting friends, relatives and neighbors whose lives have been affected by the disease.
The 11th Annual Think Pink Runway Show begins at 6 p.m. October 14 at the International Center for Trade in Eagle Pass.
