Maverick County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 Board of Directors Meeting Set for September 8, Tackling Key Issues on Agenda

The Maverick County Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 Board of Directors will hold a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at 5:30 P.M. at the District Headquarters at the Radar Base in the Maverick County Industrial Park, Eagle Pass, Texas 78852.

Among the long list of Board of Directors agenda items are No. 4 regarding the acceptance of Board President Eduardo “Lalo” Trevino resignation; No. 5. the nomination and appointment of a new Board of Director to replace Board President Eduardo “Lalo” Trevino; No. 6 the Swearing-In of the new Board of Director; No. 7 the Election of new Board Officers; No. 10 regarding the delivery of water; No. 17 meeting with the Auditor; No. 18 regarding delivery of mining and industrial water; No. 20 Amend the Bylaws on who can place items on the Agenda; and No. 24 regarding the discussion and possible action concerning the employment evaluation and possible termination of the District General Manager. There are other key issues on the agenda.

The meeting is open to the public and citizens may express their thoughts, questions, and opinions to the Board during the Citizens Communications Agenda.
