The Maverick County Hospital District is inviting breast cancer survivors and people currently fighting the disease to participate in its 11th annual Think Pink Runway Show on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.
The district’s announcement calls on survivors and current breast cancer “warriors” to model in this year’s event.
Interested participants can contact Martha at (830) 757-4954.
The annual runway show is held in October, which is recognized as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The event gives participants an opportunity to share their stories, recognize those affected by breast cancer and encourage awareness of the importance of screening and early detection.
Breast cancer can affect patients and families throughout the community.
Awareness efforts also help connect residents with information about screenings and available support.
Additional details about the event, including its time and location will be given at a later date.
