Eagle Pass Beloved Nurse and Mother of Four Wendy Karina Garcia to Be Laod to Rest Friday, October 30

Family members, friends, loved ones and members of the Eagle Pass community are mourning the loss of Wendy Karina Garcia, 38, a beloved nurse and devoted mother of four whose passing has left a profound sadness among those who knew and loved her.

Garcia will be remembered for her dedication to the nursing profession, her love for her children and the special place she held in the hearts of her family, friends and colleagues.

As a healthcare professional, Garcia dedicated herself to caring for others, while her greatest pride and joy remained her four children.

Her passing has brought tremendous sorrow to her loved ones, who will forever cherish the memories, love and special moments they shared with her.

According to Memorial Funeral Chapels, visitation services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will continue Friday, October 30, with visitation from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge Church.

Burial will follow at noon at Our Lady of Refuge Cemetery.

Although her life was cut tragically short, Garcia’s memory will live on through her four children, family members, friends and the countless individuals whose lives she touched.

She will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

May Wendy Karina Garcia rest in eternal peace, and may her children, family and loved ones find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
