Chick-fil-A Eagle Pass marked its tenth anniversary on October 20, 2026, celebrating a decade in business since opening its doors to the community in 2016.
The restaurant opened under franchise operator Juan Garza, bringing 85 new jobs to Eagle Pass. Ten years later, the anniversary drew recognition from Mayor Aaron Valdez, who thanked employees for their work and service to local families.
“Congratulations to the entire Chick-fil-A Eagle Pass team on 10 years of serving our community! I want to recognize the hard work, dedication, and friendly service that each member of your team brings to our families every day,” Valdez said.
The restaurant’s arrival in 2016 included a First 100 celebration held the day before its grand opening. The event was part of a Chick-fil-A tradition recognizing the first customers at new locations with free food.
For its tenth anniversary, Valdez highlighted the employees and others who have contributed to the restaurant’s longevity.
“Behind every anniversary are people whose effort makes it possible. It’s a pleasure to celebrate this milestone and thank everyone who has been part of your journey here in Eagle Pass,” Valdez said. “Here’s to many more years of success and growing together!”
