Eagle Pass October Calendar Filled With Fall Festivals and Community Events

Fall festivals, community gatherings, awareness events and Halloween activities are scheduled throughout Eagle Pass and Maverick County during the remainder of October, beginning Saturday, October 10, 2026.
According to the City of Eagle Pass October Community Calendar, October 10 activities include the BFCU Golf Tournament, with details to be announced, and the Domestic Violence 5K and Mayor’s Fitness Challenge at 9 a.m. at Maverick County Lake.
The OLOR Fall Fest takes place that evening, Saturday, October 10, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring local vendors, food, live music and family activities.
Lexy’s Pumpkin Patch is scheduled for October 10 and 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hopedale Loop. Activities include live music, a raffle, a pumpkin patch, and family entertainment.
City administrative offices will be closed Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.
On Wednesday, October 14, the Maverick County Hospital District Think Pink Runway Show begins at 6 p.m. at the International Center for Trade, located at 3295 Bob Rogers Drive.
A Halloween Storytelling Event follows Friday, October 16, at 7 p.m. at the Riskind Building.
Saturday, October 17, features several community activities. LC’s Power Hour begins at 10 a.m. at the Alfonso Mallen Recreation Center, 1904 Second Street, with a Halloween theme. A Free Tire Campaign also takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Eagle Pass Sports Complex.Maverick County Market Days runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. that evening at Maverick County Lake, offering local vendors, food, shopping and family activities.
The calendar lists Eagle Pass High School Homecoming for Wednesday, October 21, and C.C. Winn High School Homecoming for Wednesday, October 28.
Across the border, Piedras Negras hosts October Nacho Fest from October 23 through 25, featuring food, culture and family entertainment.On Saturday, October 24, Judge Maribel Flores’s seventh annual Trick or Treat Event takes place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Maverick County Lake.

Downtown Eagle Pass hosts Fall-o-Ween on Main on Thursday, October 29, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The event includes a pumpkin patch, food vendors, live music, a costume contest and photo spots.
Saturday, October 31, features Stride for Sight, a 5K run and walk beginning at 9 a.m. at the Eagle Pass Sports Complex, 1325 Patsy Winn Boulevard, in recognition of Blindness Awareness Month.
A Halloween 5K Race also takes place October 31 at Maverick County Lake. Check-in begins at eight thirty in the morning, followed by the race at 9 a.m. The listed registration fee is $25.
