Maverick County Candidate Drawing for Campaign Booth Canopy and Sign Space is Today, October 16

Maverick County Elections Department Director Marianna Flores-Garcia informed candidates that a meeting to assign designated campaign canopy and sign spaces will be held today, Friday, October 16, 2026 at 6 p.m. at the Multipurpose Center.

The drawing is being held in preparation for the November 3, 2026, General Election and will determine designated spaces for candidates during the early voting period.

According to the department’s notice, the drawing process is intended to provide fairness, equal opportunity and organized representation for all candidates.

All candidates or their designated representatives are encouraged to attend.

Candidates who cannot attend are asked to send a representative to participate on their behalf.

The Elections Department is requesting cooperation as it works to maintain a safe, fair and organized environment with voters as its priority.
