The City of Eagle Pass joined the Mendoza-Pacheco family in celebrating the grand opening of their fourth McDonald’s Restaurant on Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at 30 Queens Court in Eagle Pass, marking another addition to the city’s growing southside commercial corridor.
The Eagle Pass Chamber of Commerce hosted the grand opening celebration, recognizing the family’s investment and the restaurant’s contribution to continued business development in Eagle Pass.
“The City of Eagle Pass proudly congratulates the Mendoza-Pacheco Family on the McDonald’s at Queens Court grand opening,” Mayor Aaron Valdez stated. “Thank you for investing in our community and contributing to the continued growth of Eagle Pass. We wish you great success at your new location!”
The new restaurant represents the fourth McDonald’s location in Eagle Pass, joining restaurants on Main Street, Del Rio Boulevard and South Veterans Boulevard.
The Queens Court location expands dining options for residents, workers and travelers along the U.S. Highway 57 corridor.
The development follows an agreement between Empire Industrial and McDonald’s USA for the sale of a 1.7-acre property that cleared the way for construction.
Earlier reporting described plans for a larger, modern restaurant within the developing Empire Industrial Park area.
The project was registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on September 23, 2025.
The state filing listed an estimated construction cost of $750,000, with construction scheduled to begin May 25, 2026, and completion projected for October 7, 2026.
Its placement near the planned Pilot Truck Stop positions the restaurant to serve local customers and traffic moving through the area.
The opening also adds another national business to a corridor experiencing commercial and infrastructure investment.
New restaurant development can provide employment opportunities, broaden dining options and support economic activity by attracting customers to nearby establishments.
The Mendoza-Pacheco family continues to believe in Eagle Pass and invest in its future, helping our community grow and creating new opportunities for residents.
